Belmont Bait & Fly is the newest lake stocked for fly fishing in Ireland. Located in Mullaghbawn, Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland, Belmont Bait & Fly is nestled in the Ring of Gullion, an area designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Belmont Bait & Fly are open for fly fishing 7 days a week, 364 days of the year (We close on Christmas Day). Opening times are 9am to Dusk.
We offer two fly fishing price options for using our lake.
Full Day Fly Fishing Catch & Release Permit £15.00
Half Day Fly Fishing Catch & Release Permit £10.00
Can I keep my catch?
Our high quality stocks of Rainbow Trout can be kept and are charged at the amazing rate of £1.50 per lb.
Our lake is regularly stocked with top quality Irish Produced Rainbow Trout. Our extremely vibrant and active stocks of Rainbow Trout range in size from 1.5lb to a mammoth 10lb.
All of our Rainbow Trout stocks are carefully selected in order to ensure our customers have the best fly fishing experience possible on our lakes.
If you do not own (or forgot to bring) the required fly fishing tackle, do not fear. Here at Belmont Bait & Fly we provide a full Fishing Tackle Hire Service. A Fishing Rod, Fly Fishing Reel, Fly Fishing Flies and a Fishing Net can all be hired from us onsite for £5.00 per day.

Hot food & beverages are available in our onsite tea Room/Cafe which is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm.
Wheelchair Access
Our entire facility is wheelchair friendly.
We offer a variety of fly fishing holiday packages for Fishing Clubs, Groups & Schools. We are also able to offer fly fishing with accomodation to groups wishing to book multi-day fishing trips. There are also a number of coarse fishing facilities in the Armagh area to which we can arrange access for Clubs/Groups alike.
